I work as a morning and afternoon newscast producer and anchor for KBIA 91.3 FM. I filter through regional stories to create the most informative newscasts for our audience. I recite these newscasts live from 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Thursdays.
CAPSTONE PROJECT
My Capstone team and I created two community-based events for KBIA's audience. Our events were sponsored by KBIA's Missouri Health Talks, a segment that discusses the lack of healthcare access in rural Missouri. Our first event was held in Moberly, Miss. and was called the Moberly Health Expo. Our second event was held in Columbia, Miss. and was called Breaking It Down: Homelessness in Missouri.
